Sustainability

The intention of our facility is to eliminate the need to dispose of liquids on to landfill sites, this is in support of legislation which will come into effect in 2019 prohibiting the disposal of liquids onto landfills.

The concept of sustainability embodies the understanding that resources cannot be consumed indefinitely, they will eventually runout and the consumption of resources by some should not negatively affect the well being of others.

Thus it has become critical that we recover and reuse as many resources as is possible, this includes wastes.

Our facility assists by :

1: Separating and treating the water content from wastes.

2: Separating the solid contents from the wastes.

3: Treating the effluent to remove toxins, metals, organics.

4: Treating the solids to render them dry and less toxic

 Resulting in up to 80 % reduction of waste to landfill
